50 Hoops has been a vital, committed national
community resource for prostate education for eight (8) years,
and we continue to grow in 2006 with our NPFR Project.

FABULOUS & 50 TO SEXY AT 60” focuses upon Diabetes, Cardiovascular
Heart Disease, Hypertension, Cholesterol, Prostate Cancer, BPH
and Erectile Dysfunction as the diseases which affect over 50 men
that makes a difference in their quality of life and intimacy. The

WHY: A need that all partners understand for our community.
The Lecture Series will hopefully mobilize leaders of influence
to encourage their constituencies to actively get involved in
health awareness issues for African American men over 50 and
better educate themselves about health options. Presentations
will showcase recognized doctors, authors, survivors and celebrities;
exploring ways to incorporate community education in an interesting,
provocative ways. |
